You’ve spent your time at Abbey Road Institute working hard and immersing yourself in all of the learning and experiences on offer, what next?

Ambitious and motivated, alumni from across our international schools are establishing themselves in the next stages of their careers in the music industry and beyond. They’re working as producers and engineers to undertaking internships and much more. The opportunities are broad, from working in studios, for a range of businesses and startups in the music and cultural sectors to setting up their own initiatives and working freelance, juggling lots of exciting and demanding projects.

After completing their studies our future Miami graduates will join a global alumni Abbey Road network including all of our alumni as well as our industry friends. This extended family are from different backgrounds and with different skill sets, they progress onto a range of careers. Brought together at the end of their study for the global graduation ceremony there are many opportunities for future collaboration and partnerships.

Raphaël Guédin

Music Producer, Artist & Freelance Engineer

Raphaël Guédin studied on the part-time Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering at Abbey Road Institute Paris from October 2017 to September 2019. A highlight of his time at the Institute was recording band ‘Mother Vulture’ in the Gatehouse at Abbey Road Studios.

He also completed an internship at Audioscope studios, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris whilst he was studying with us. The experience turned out to be very constructive as a few days after the end of his training Raphaël was hired as an assistant at the famous studio. Find out more about Raphael here.

Ramera Abraham

Vocal Producer & Recording Engineer

Ramera Abraham is a London-based vocal producer, recording engineer, and songwriter. Having spent her younger years studying music in the Philippines, Abraham is now classically trained in piano, vocals, and drums. After completing her undergraduate degree in Canada, the multi-faceted created moved to London in 2017 to study our Advanced Diploma in Sound Engineering and Music Production course at Abbey Road Institute.

Upon graduating from the Institute, Abraham earned an engineering residency at Spotify’s Noteable studio, under the mentorship of Berklee College of Music. It was there that she dealt with daily studio operations and delved into the world of vocal production and engineering. After her Spotify residency, Abraham became a runner and then assistant engineer at Metropolis Studios, where she assisted on several projects. Including: Little Mix’s last two albums, Grammy-nominated musical theatre album “Cinderella” with Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’ album, Carnage.

Abraham has since progressed into a freelance role, primarily at music distribution and artist services company, Platoon. Some of her biggest career highlights include working with Saint Harison, TianaMajor9, RAYE, Luz, Ms Banks, Henry Moodie, Kamille, and Matt Taylor. She was also included in SheSaid.So’s Alternative Power 100 List 2021 as one to watch, and is the Music Producers Guild’s Vocal Producer of the Year 2023.

Abraham has also taught several vocal production masterclasses with MPW, ICMP, University of Winchester, and at her alma mater, Abbey Road Institute. She has been creating vocal arrangements and writing harmonies from a very young age and has been in the professional recording industry for nearly six years. Leo Mendes DIPLÔMÉ DE Abbey Road Institute Paris En 2017.

Leo Mendes exerce depuis sous le statut d’intermittent du spectacle. A cet égard il se produit dans plusieurs pays (France, Angleterre, Ecosse, Italie, Israël …). Il a notamment participé à l’édition portugaise de The Voice dans laquelle il est arrivée aux étapes avancées de la compétition. Il s’est notamment illustré en direct sur la chaîne portugaise par ses interprétations tant techniques que musclées. Notamment une reprise de “Whole Lotta Love” du groupe Led Zeppelin ou encore “Highway to Hell” des australiens AC/DC. Producteur, il développe aussi ses collaborations musicales au quotidien.

Quentin Durual

Freelance Engineer, Composer & Session Guitarist

Quentin Durual joined Abbey Road Institute Paris having already gained some experience in the music industry.   He worked freelance in mixing and compostion as well as working on two festival of light projectsin Lyon   before studying with us. He also studied in London for a year to make music and improve his English.  Following that he joined Abbey Road Institute Paris in 2017.     After Quentin graduated at Abbey Road Studios, he travelled to Australia for a 3 month internship at   the famous and well respected 'Studios 301'. Upon returning to France, he has been working on a variety   of projects including composing for television through a company called "The Range". He continues   working as mix engineer and as a session guitarist for performances, collaborating with artists such as   Nicko Soulchildren odaiba, Paul Flint and Tony Dofat. Stefan Roscovan

Stefan Roscovan

Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Engineer & Multi-instrumentalist

Stefan Roscovan is the first Amsterdam student graduating with distinction.

Stefan, born in a family of musicians in a small country called Moldova. He had been taking part in numerous singing competitions prior to studying at Abbey Road Institute in Amsterdam. As a result, he achieved over 20 winning trophies and toured 3 continents in countries including the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia and Iraq. In 2016, he became a semi-finalist on Romania’s “The Voice” which began his journey into music production and engineering.

At the moment, Stefan works as an independent singer, songwriter, music producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist based in London. He is the owner of the record label “Reflective Records” and works on freelance projects in mainly Amsterdam, London and Los Angeles.

“Every day spent here felt like I was better than the day before. It is beautiful to think in colours, mix with flavours and develop a unique way to listen and understand music. At Abbey Road is all about perspective and attitude. These things that are taught so well between the magical walls of the institute.”

Stéphanie Ung

Audio Engineer

Stéphanie Ung completed her training at Abbey Road Institute Paris in 2019. Before studying with us   Stéphanie undertook classical training at the Paris Conservatory where she learned the violin.   She then became interested in writing and composition which allowed her to discover and explore electronic   music. It was her interest in this genre that encouraged her to pursue her studies at Abbey Road Institute Paris   where she developed skills in sound engineering and music production.     Within two months of obtaining her diploma Stéphanie secured an internship at Coppélia Studios. The following   month, she was hired as an assistant and worked on sessions with Youv Eee, 7 Jaws, Yseult, Kungs,   Ben l’oncle Soul and has begun to do sessions as a sound engineer where she has recorded   artist Laetitia Bay.

My goal is for aspiring producers, engineers and artists to learn by direct experience. To be thrown in the middle of actual professional recording sessions and learn by doing, is the most effective, honest and responsible way of acquiring the skills needed for a career in music. I aim to guide, educate and inspire the future generations of music professionals while staying fully involved and engaged in my work as a music producer for the most important and upcoming artists of the industry.
