From Miami to London: Celebrating Our Graduates at Abbey Road Studios

Early this summer, students from our Music Production and Sound Engineering Programme in Miami joined nearly 400 graduates, family members, and friends from six Abbey Road Institute schools worldwide for an unforgettable graduation ceremony in London. The event at the renowned Abbey Road Studios was not only a celebration but also a significant milestone showcasing the dedication, growth, and creativity of our students.

The day was filled with inspiration and special moments. The London Symphony Orchestra String Quartet gave a moving “Stories from the Studio” performance, adding a touch of magic to the occasion. Graduates received good luck wishes and uplifting messages from music legends Andrew Scheps, Sylvia Massy, Nile Rodgers, and others, words that will stay with them as they embark on the next stage of their journeys.

Following the official ceremony, the celebrations continued at the official after-party in Night Tales Hackney, where students, parents, and friends from across the globe came together to share their joy. For our Miami graduates, representing diverse backgrounds from the US, Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Spain, Colombia, and Peru, it was a truly special moment of recognition, celebrating the dedication, hard work, and unyielding passion they poured into their year with us.

The celebration didn’t conclude there. Over the course of two exhilarating days, the graduates immersed themselves in hands-on recording workshops at the iconic Abbey Road and the renowned Angel Studios. These exceptional venues not only enhanced their skills but also offered them the chance to absorb the vibrant history and creative energy that has inspired countless musical legends. Each session provided invaluable insights and experiences, further igniting their aspirations in the music industry.

As we celebrate these achievements, we’re also looking ahead: one course in Miami is just finishing, while a new group of students is starting this September. Their journey in our Music Production and Sound Engineering Programme Miami is only beginning, and we can’t wait to see where it leads.
