Celebrating Excellence: Abbey Road Institute Miami Graduates Shine at Global Graduation 2026

A pure celebration! Last month, our Miami graduates and their families joined other graduates from Abbey Road Institute schools worldwide for the Global Graduation Ceremony at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. This special event celebrated their hard work, creativity, and growth in the Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering program.

Ceremony in Studio One

The ceremony was held on Monday, June 15, at the famous Studio One. Guests arrived early in the afternoon, and the official program started soon after. Following welcoming remarks from Abbey Road officials, Robin Reumers, our Director of Education, stepped up to deliver a heartfelt speech and present diplomas to our Miami graduates. It was a proud moment for our Miami campus as families watched the graduates receive their diplomas alongside peers from Paris, Amsterdam, and London. A beautiful 30-minute string quartet performance titled “Stories from the Studios” added a magical touch to the afternoon.

The celebration continued that evening at the official Global Graduation Party at Night Tales in Hackney. Graduates from all the institutes worldwide, families, and friends enjoyed a relaxed evening of music, laughter, and connection, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Workshops at Abbey Road and Angel

The excitement carried into the next two days. On 16 and 17 June, our Miami graduates took part in hands-on recording workshops at Abbey Road Studios and Angel Studios. At Angel Studios, they worked alongside Grammy-winning engineer Ricky Damian and recording artist Josh Barry. At Abbey Road Studio Two, they recorded with the Pete Cater big band under the guidance of Abbey Road engineer Paul Pritchard. These sessions gave our students rare, real-world experience in world-class rooms while learning from engineers with credits on major albums and film scores.

We are incredibly proud of our Miami Class of 2026. Their dedication and talent shone brightly throughout the week.
